Mark Drury Taylor grew up in the sleepy town of Horsham in the South-east of England, on the doorstep of Ash Down forest, the settling of the Winnie the Pooh adventures. He spent his childhood summer holidays in his Grandparents wooden hunt on the top of a cliff overlooking on the Gower coastline of South Wales. “It was natures ultimate adventure playground for a young boy” recalls Mark, “There was no electricity and hand held video game players hadn’t been invented yet so we had no choice but to invent our own entertainment.”

After a long and successful career in advertising in the UK and America Mark decided to revert back to his childhood days that had influenced him so much and start writing stories for children.
